Hyperserve is a video backend API that takes uploaded video files as input and returns playback URLs as output. Developers create a video record via the API, upload the file directly from the client without exposing an API key, then queue transcoding. The service converts files up to 5 GB into MP4 output ranging from 144p to 8K and hosts them on a CDN for low-latency global delivery. It is made by Misty Mountain Software.

1. Backend calls hyperserve.createVideo() with a filename and desired resolutions, receiving an id and uploadUrl.

3. Backend calls hyperserve.completeUpload(id) to queue transcoding.
4. A webhook fires with per-resolution status and CDN playback URLs.
