Skylimit AR Aging Dashboard is a free, browser-based accounts receivable tracking tool that imports Tally ERP export files to provide real-time aging analysis, payment logging, and call management — all processed locally on your device.
What is Skylimit AR Aging Dashboard?
It is an offline-first web application that reads Tally ERP’s Statement of Accounts – Outstanding exports (Excel format) and presents a full AR aging dashboard with aging buckets, payment tracking, and calling list management. The app runs entirely in the browser using IndexedDB for local storage, processes no data on any external server, and is developed by @in_akm on GitHub.
Key Features
- Aging bucket visualization — Automatically categorises invoices into Current (0–30d), 31–60, 61–90, and 90+ days buckets based on Due Date or Invoice Date, with bucketed charts and distribution summaries.
- Payment desk — Log payments manually by selecting party name and invoice, record amount and remark; all entries appear in a sortable payment log with export to Excel.
- Calling list management — Sync a calling list CSV/Excel to track call statuses (Pending, Completed, Disputed, Unreachable), update remarks per invoice, and filter by status for prioritised follow-ups.
- Exportable reports — Output filtered ledger views, payment logs, and calling lists as CSV, PDF, or sync JSON for archiving or stakeholder sharing.
- Key AR metrics — Displays Total Outstanding, Total Collected, Today Collected, DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), CEI (Collection Effectiveness Index), Avg Days Delinquent, 90+ Delinquency %, and Bad Debt Risk, all updated in real time.
- AI-Powered Insights — Coming soon; will include smart analysis of payment patterns and risk predictions.
- Local-first privacy — All data stays in the browser’s IndexedDB; no transmissions, no server storage, and full user control to clear or export data.
Who is it for?
- Accountants and finance managers — Monitor outstanding receivables, track aging buckets, and generate weekly/monthly AR reports without sharing sensitive data with third parties.
- Collection teams — Use the calling list tab to prioritise overdue invoices, log call outcomes, and send payment reminders via WhatsApp/Email (buttons provided in the interface).
- Small business owners using Tally ERP — Convert Tally’s export data into an actionable dashboard without additional software installation or licensing costs.
What can you do with it?
- Track overdue invoices — After uploading the Master Report from Tally, view a sorted list of all unpaid invoices with aging bucket, days overdue, and pending amount; use filters by group, aging, and call status to focus on high-risk accounts.
- Log payments and update call statuses — In the Payment Desk tab, record partial or full payments manually; in the Calling List tab, mark each invoice’s call status as Completed, Follow-up, Disputed, or Unreachable with remarks.
- Export and backup data — Download filtered ledger views or payment logs to Excel, generate a sync JSON for daily backups, or produce PDF reports for stakeholder review.
How does it work?
- Export your Statement of Accounts – Outstanding report from Tally ERP as an Excel file.
- Upload that file via the Input → Master Report button; the dashboard populates the ledger with invoice data.
- Optionally upload payment logs (Input → Payment Logs) or record payments manually; upload a calling list (Input → Calling List) to sync call statuses.
- Use the Calling List tab to filter overdue invoices and update call outcomes after each interaction.
- Export reports or backup data via the Output menu.
Sample Excel files for all three upload formats (Master Report, Payment Logs, Calling List) are available for download from the dashboard’s sample files section on GitHub.
