Saga20 is an AI-powered campaign tracker and world builder for TTRPGs that records session audio and automatically generates structured notes, updates a campaign wiki, and maps your world.
What is Saga20?
Saga20 takes any audio file from your TTRPG session — recorded on a phone, Discord (via Craig or OBS), or dedicated mic — and transcribes it. It produces session summaries, key events, and NPC/character logs, then automatically updates a shared campaign wiki. The platform runs in the browser (app.saga20.com) and is developed by an independent team (no company name listed on the page). It supports voice auto-matching so players are recognized across sessions without manual tagging.
Key Features
- Automatic session summaries — Upload session audio (any length, tested up to 5 hours) and get a structured recap with key events, player decisions, and plot threads within minutes. Summaries improve as Saga20 learns your campaign context.
- Voice auto-matching — After the first session, Saga20 creates voice fingerprints (not stored audio) and identifies each speaker in future recordings. Up to 72-hour retention of voice samples, then deleted.
- Self-updating world wiki — Characters, NPCs, locations, factions, and items are extracted and added to wiki pages automatically. Each page has an editable section and a separate auto-updated section from new sessions.
- Campaign graph — A visual map that shows all connections between entities (characters, factions, locations) and updates after every session.
- Player character claiming — Players can claim their character and get editable pages with character sheets, images, and a session history that updates after each recording.
- One-click sharing & Discord integration — Share session summaries via a public link (no account required). Connect a campaign to Discord and publish formatted recaps directly to a server channel.
- Campaign import — Bring in existing notes from Google Docs, Obsidian, World Anvil, etc. via Settings > Campaign Import. Saga20 reads the material and extracts entities.
- Multi-system support — Works with D&D (all editions), Pathfinder (1e & 2e), Call of Cthulhu, Cyberpunk RED, Vampire: The Masquerade, and any other RPG. Supports 25+ languages.
Who is it for?
- Game Masters running multiple campaigns — Upload session recordings to automatically generate summaries and wiki updates, saving hours of manual note-taking and prep.
- Players who struggle with note-taking — Get a shared wiki with session recaps, claimed character pages, and session history so they can focus on roleplay.
- Paid GMs on platforms like Roll20 or StartPlaying — Use the auto-generated wiki and player claiming to deliver polished post-session materials with minimal effort.
- Groups who play online via Discord — Record sessions with Craig or OBS, upload to Saga20, then publish recaps to Discord with one click.
What can you do with Saga20?
- Record a session and get a full wiki update — Upload audio after a game night; Saga20 transcribes, summarizes, and populates character/location/faction pages before you finish putting away miniatures.
- Backfill an existing campaign — Import old session notes or recordings (email [email protected] for large archives) to recreate campaign history in one place.
- Let players manage their own characters — Claim a character to get a fully editable page with a character sheet builder and session history, visible to the whole group.
How does Saga20 work?
- Upload any audio file from your session (no setup, no tagging required).
- Saga20 processes the audio — transcripts are generated, voices matched to players, and key events extracted.
- The campaign wiki updates automatically: entity pages for characters, NPCs, locations, and factions are populated with relevant details.
- Summaries and wiki are shareable via link or Discord. Recaps can be edited as needed.
