PSFutureMail is a digital time capsule service that lets you write letters now and schedule delivery to your future self on any date you choose — next week, next year, or decades from now.
What is PSFutureMail?
PSFutureMail is a private email platform designed as a time capsule. You write a letter today (input: text, optional attachments up to 10 MB on paid plans), choose a future delivery date, and the service sends it as an email to your inbox exactly when the time comes. It runs as a web app at psfuturemail.com. The service is built by an independent team focused on long-term reliability; no parent company is named on the site.
Key Features
- Write once, deliver later — Write a letter today and pick any future date; the service handles timing. Write a letter
- Edit anytime before delivery — Plans and words change; you can update or rewrite your letter at any point before it’s sent. Edit your letters
- Private by default — All letters are encrypted at rest with industry-standard encryption. No ads, no tracking, no data sold. You can optionally share anonymously as a public letter. Privacy Policy
- Built for long-term delivery — Letters are stored in redundant backups with multi-region database replication. A continuously monitored delivery engine runs 24/7 to ensure on-time sending, even decades later.

- Delivery audit trail — Delivery attempts and status are logged so you can verify your letter reached its destination.
Who is it for?
- Individuals who want to journal with delayed reflection — Write annual letters capturing goals and hopes, then receive them exactly one year later to measure growth.
- Parents leaving messages for their child’s future — Write a letter when a child is young to be opened when they finish school, as a timeless gift from the past.
- Couples sending anniversary notes — Schedule love letters to arrive on each anniversary, creating a tradition of words from the past.
- Anyone marking life milestones — Send a letter to yourself before a big change (new job, moving, graduation) and schedule it months later to see how far you’ve come.
What can you do with PSFutureMail?
- Yearly reflections — Capture goals at the start of each year; receive them twelve months later to see what changed and what stayed true.
- Birthday surprises — Send a letter to yourself or a loved one scheduled to arrive on their birthday — a thoughtful gift arriving exactly when it matters.
- Milestone check-ins — Write before a big life change and schedule delivery months later to reflect on personal progress.
- Growth journal — Document current thoughts and feelings; revisit them months or years later to observe clarity and change.
How does PSFutureMail work?
You write a letter on the write page, pick a future delivery date (next week, next year, a decade from now), optionally edit it anytime before delivery, and the service sends it as an email exactly on that date. Drafts are free and count against no quota. Only scheduling a letter uses an email credit. You can also read public letters for inspiration.
Pricing
PSFutureMail is freemium. You get one free letter per calendar year (unlimited receiving). For more letters, paid plans are available — see the pricing page for details. Per-email credits purchased are valid for one year from purchase and are non-refundable even if you delete a scheduled letter. The maximum number of emails you can send is 100 per year regardless of plan.
