Printery is a Figma plugin that exports print-ready PDFs with CMYK conversion, ICC profiles, bleed, crop marks, and DPI control directly from the design environment.
Printery is a Figma plugin that turns designs into press-ready PDFs without rebuilding files in InDesign or other prepress tools. It takes Figma frames, pages, or spreads and outputs CMYK PDFs with embedded ICC profiles, optional bleed and crop marks, and configurable DPI. The plugin is developed by Cooders Pro (noted in the pricing email domain) and runs entirely inside Figma.
After installing the plugin from the Figma Community, designers select the frames or pages they want to export. They then configure color mode (CMYK or RGB), choose an ICC profile, set DPI, enable bleed and crop marks, and export the PDF. The free plan limits document creations to 5 per week and PDF exports to 2 per month, while the Pro plan removes those limits.
Printery uses a freemium model. The Free plan includes 5 document creations per week and 2 PDF exports per month, plus bleed, crop marks, safety zones, and DPI checking. The Pro Monthly plan costs $12/month and adds unlimited documents and exports, ICC profiles, Pantone spot colors, overprint settings, and multi-page PDFs. A Pro Yearly plan is available at $48/year (founder price, limited time) — saving 67% over the monthly plan.
Yes. Select the frames you want to export, set the color mode to CMYK, pick an ICC profile (e.g., ISO Coated v2 or SWOP), and export. The output is a print-ready CMYK PDF with embedded profile.
For many projects — brochures, flyers, posters, packaging, and marketing materials — Printery provides enough print production controls to skip InDesign. Long-form documents like books or complex magazines may still benefit from InDesign’s advanced typography and pagination tools.
