Free, privacy-first browser tools, each with a how-to guide
CapyToolkit is a growing collection of free, privacy-first browser tools. Its 50+ tools span nine categories: hardware and display diagnostics, developer parsers and encoders, security and privacy tools, audio testing, math and engineering calculators, text analysis, web design utilities, network references, and personal tools such as a passport photo cropper, PDF toolkit, and receipt splitter.
Every tool runs client-side. Files never upload, text never leaves the tab, and no account is required. Each tool page also carries worked examples: the resistor calculator explains band tolerance, the subnet calculator breaks down CIDR notation, the MIME and HTTP status references are searchable, and the contrast checker quotes WCAG AA and AAA thresholds.
The site installs as an app, works offline, and is on the Microsoft Store for Windows. Always free, with new tools added regularly.
