The data behind the AI data market
AIData.Broker shows the data behind the AI data market. There is no price list for AI training data, so the site collects what is public: more than 700 prices paid, offered or listed for company records, source code, video, audio, images, text and datasets, each with its source and a per-unit figure; 25 buyers with what each publishes about price, eligibility and payment; 95 disclosed licensing deals; and a tracker of lawsuits and rulings over training data. Free tools turn that evidence into answers: a data valuation for eight kinds of data, a rights check that shows what blocks a sale and what to fix, a buyer match, and a datasheet builder. Fourteen datasets are open under CC BY 4.0. For holders who want to sell, AIData.Broker acts for the seller: it takes the data to several buyers, compares the bids and is paid a success fee from the sale, and nothing if nothing sells. AI labs and data vendors can post a request for data to be sourced, free.
